Hmm, I just noticed that the first base drum kick is screwed up. I used an old Fostex 4 Track Tape recorder for this one. The drums are made by a Boss Dr 550. The guitar used is a Yamaha RGX 121D. It goes straight to the GNX2 which goes straight to the 4 Track recorder. I layed down to rhythm tracks with slightly different sound. For both I used a self created preset. The solo is pure improvisation. I used Wavelab to EQ this song. This song has some nice rhythms in it. I used "my" solo patch for the lead guitar (slight delay and flanger). The clean patch was created for this record. It has a dominating tremolo in the beginning. The WahWah is used, too.
E.Thomas (Gwar) - AsgardThe only song recorded with a Fostex VF160CDRW (a digital HD recorder). Recording was MUCH easier with this unit (It was a pain for "Comfort Me"). I used a Korg M1 factory preset (which I tweaked a bit) for the keyboard part.Again the drums are from the Boss DR 550 and the GNX2 goes direct to the recorder. For the little solo in the end I used "my" solo patch again. I can't remember what I used for the other lead guitar - it could be one of the Pink Floyd patches from the download section. Think, I used my standard rhythm guitar patch for the distorted part in the end of the song. I believed I played this song with my 7string guitar.
