This song was recorded with my GNX2 into Cakewalk Sonar2.
For the electric, I used my Dean Evo. For the bass, a Cort Curbow.
All the effects were done with patches I made (email me if you want
them, versaln@yahoo.com).
The drums were made with Fruity Loops.
The clean intro on this song is inspired by Dream Theater's Home,
but everything after that just came about from messing around on my bass and guitar.

This song also was recorded with the GNX2 into Cakewalk Sonar.
Drums are made with Fruity Loops.
On this song, the bass was modeled using Amplitude rather than the GNX unit.
Same guitar, Dean Evo, and bass, Cort Curbow.
The intro to this song just came to me one day whilst tuning up my guitar.
The rest of the parts I put together from ideas I had for other songs.
I always record bass first, and in the original I recorded the song and
afterwards realized the bass was slightly out of tune.
I had to redo the entire thing and almost just scrapped the whole idea as a bad sign.
This is the only solo that I have purely improvised, rather than sat down and thought
out the solo. I wanted to use something wierd, and made the whole song in D Phrygrian.
So, for better or worse, it was an on-the-spot improve excercise for my soloing.
The harmony part in the middle and end of the song is a tribute to just about
every Metallica song ever written.
